Welcome to Knits By Clau


Founded in the Spring of 2021. Knits By Clau was created with love after I found out that my oldest daughter was expecting her first child. At the same time, a chapter of my life came to an unexpected end and I decided to focus my passion, time, energy and dedication In starting something meaningful that I truly love. I now run this passion project with my oldest daughter Ligia.

Here you will find beautiful one of a kind hand knitted and personalized cardigans, jumpers, rompers and much more. All pieces as designed by me, custom made to order and hand embroidered. Our focus is on baby and children’s clothing, but much more to come.

My hope is that a Knit By Clau piece will give new life and meaning to classic knitwear. The pieces are encouraged to be passed down and worn by many generations with the focus on sustainable, slow fashion for the future generations.

Customization

  • How to order and customize

    Our knits are handmade based on your order. Once your purchase is made we have a delivery window of 3-4 weeks to ship the piece. Our readymade collection ships within 72 hours.

    When you make a purchase on our site, you have the option to customize the knit by picking the desired size, desired color of yarn and adding a hand embroidered name or initials if available for the chosen piece. The color of the name and or initial is also customizable.

    If you have an additional request for special buttons or detailing, you can email us at info@knitsbyclau.com. We would be happy to accommodate any special request if possible.
